The Hunt for an XH-A1 Continues...

Oh, Beatty Televisual...  Why did you taunt me by placing it in front of me and allowing me to cradle it in my arms?  I'm only at $1,000...  I'll need up to $3,000 if I want a chance at winning any bids on eBay.  Still...  A man can dream.
Although I can get a Panasonic AG-DVX100A for cheap, too.  But the lack of future-proof HD and true 16:9 sensor chips disturbs me.  Still, it's quite nice for a Junior in high school.

  1. Sweet camera! That would definitely be a great start to your ambitions in film. Do you have any plans for video-editing software?

  2. I've heard Final Cut Pro is the best out there. Of course, that's Mac exclusive, so I won't be getting that. The only other thing I could think of is Adobe Premiere Pro.

And I know! Originally I was shooting for an XL1s, but saw it didn't have what I was looking for and moved up to an XL2. Then I heard of the XH-A1, and the fact that the HD would be a lot more future proof kind of drew me in. But, again, I can go lower if it means at least experimenting with something of such high caliber.
